Spray Solutions for Higher Tire Quality

In complex tire manufacturing, the application of a release agent inside tire blanks is an important process step that can significantly increase the lubricity and service life of the curing bladder in the vulcanization press. SAR has fulfilled this task in numerous systems. The SQL4automation Connector is used to connect the controllers with the databases.

The tire interior spray solutions provide the necessary lubricity for releasing the tire from the curing bladder, which is used to press the blank into the tread mold under high pressure and temperature. This has a positive effect on the appearance, quality, and service life of both the tire and the curing bladder.

For this reason, the application of the spray solution is an important step in the complex tire manufacturing process. In numerous projects for tire producers, the SQL4automation software is used as an interface for database management.

Reliably Connecting Controllers with SQL Databases‍

A spray recipe is stored in a database for each tire type, as each tire type requires a specific amount of release agent. After spraying, the information about the application is written back to the database, making traceability for quality purposes easily possible.

As a solution for the direct connection between the various PLC systems and the databases, SAR's experts chose the SQL4automation Connector from Inasoft after researching the market. The controllers can use SQL commands to query data from tables, insert data into tables, modify, and delete data. Additionally, database procedures can be executed.
An OPC server is not required. This improves performance, increases security, and provides greater flexibility.
