Exchanging production and product data between controller and MES
Umicore's automotive exhaust catalyst production has been standardized worldwide in terms of automation and systems. In the plants, the company's own MES solution manages all production and product data in the Microsoft SQL database, and the TwinCAT software system was chosen as the controller.
