V5.2.0.3 is here!

New in SQL4automation: DNS-Based PLC Authentication. Previously, SQL4automation stored the IP address of the PLC on the first request. All subsequent requests had to come from exactly that IP. Now, a DNS name can be stored instead.

V5.2.0.3 is here!

The Benefits

More flexibility with IP changes: DHCP reassignments or network adjustments no longer cause interrupted connections.

Easier maintenance: Device replacements or moves to other subnets without reconfiguration in S4A.

Security remains intact: Authentication is still firmly bound to a defined target, now simply name-based rather than IP-based.

Further improvements

Alongside this new feature, we have implemented numerous smaller optimizations in this release that make SQL4automation even more stable and reliable in daily use. Particular attention was paid to connection stability in the area of Sentinel Cloud licensing. Targeted adjustments here ensure that your systems work consistently and reliably even under fluctuating network conditions. Many of these improvements are noticeable in the background: fewer interruptions, more robust processes, and an overall smoother user experience.

Update Now! Stay on the latest tested stack and keep your data pipelines running reliably.
